How to Feed the Vegetarian Child

The CDC recently released a survey which found that about 1 in 200 children are vegetarians.  This number is growing quickly and may be even higher as CDC researchersbaby nutrition, organic baby food speculate teens are even more likely to be vegetarian because they make more of their own food choices.  The study brings up an interesting question: can a child eat healthy as a vegetarian?  Is it healthier to be a vegetarian?

CDC Survey Says 1 in 200 U.S Kids are Vegetarians

Young kids have peculiar eating habits to say the least. One week its nothing but peanut baby developmentbutter and jelly and the next week its all apples and oranges.  What if your child got into a food jag that eliminated meat? Perhaps you already are a vegetarian family and are wondering how many other little ones forgo fowl as well.  According to a new survey by Centers for Disease Control (CDC) more children are vegetarian than  previously anticipated.
