The past two weeks the US has been anxiously awaiting the US Senate’s response to the SCHIP bill that passed in the House of Representatives a few weeks ago. Yesterday, the Senate not only passed the bill but made even more improvements to help US children.

SCHIP Bill Passes House: First Step in Expanding Health Insurance for Kids

New US president Barack Obama was inaugurated today; and even prior to stepping into the White House began making strides on his campaign agenda. U.S. News and World Report reveals the House of Representatives passed a bill reauthorizing the State Children’s Health Insurance plan (SCHIP).
