Tapioca Starch

My son Mario is starting to eat people' food and I am trying to find items that he can eat that will allow him to eat himself. He just turned a year old. With my daughter I gave her cheerios, pasta pickups etc. Mario is allergic to wheat, egg and peanut/treenut so cheerios and pasta pick ups are out. I bought Gerber Yogurt melts but they say they contain tapioca starch' - does anyone know if tapioca starch is okay with wheat allergy? I cannot find information on this. Also does anyone have any other ideas for pick up toddler foods / snacks'? I have also used the Baby Mum Mums f...
